Likwidowano nie tylko chorych psychicznie i upo\u015bledzonych, ale tak\u017ce osoby starsze przebywaj\u0105ce w domach starc\u00f3w, chorych wymagaj\u0105cych sta\u0142ej opieki, a nawet rannych \u017co\u0142nierzy, u kt\u00f3rych wyst\u0105pi\u0142y zaburzenia psychiczne na skutek prze\u017cy\u0107 frontowych oraz choruj\u0105cych je\u0144c\u00f3w. <br \/>Temu celowi s\u0142u\u017cy\u0142y takie o\u015brodki, jak mi\u0119dzy innymi ten w Nowym Czarnowie.<br \/>Przez pewien czas po zako\u0144czeniu wojny obiekt zajmowany by\u0142 przez wojsko rosyjskie, w\u00f3wczas to wywieziono z niego wi\u0119kszo\u015b\u0107 wyposa\u017cenia. <br \/>W kwietniu 1958 roku powo\u0142ane zosta\u0142o do \u017cycia Pa\u0144stwowe Sanatorium Neuropsychiatrii Dzieci\u0119cej. <br \/>Przez sanatoryjne
